Taylors Falls - Climbing Campout
All scouts are encouraged to join the Lightning Patrol on the Climbing Campout at Interstate Park in Taylors Falls
Located on the St. Croix River, Interstate Park is home to many beautiful views and climbing opportunities.
What are we going to do?
20 scouts will be able to take the Climbing Merit Badge all day Saturday with the assistance of Climbing Instructors. Scouts will be able to fully complete the climbing portion of the merit badge and will have the opportunity to complete the first aid section of the Merit Badge with the troop.
Weather may cancel the climbing portion of the campout, but we'll still camp! If we are unable to climb, a refund will be issued for the climbing portion of the campout ($35).
Don't want to climb?
That's OK! Come camp with the troop anyway! There are other day hikes that can be done in this area!
