Metalwork Merit Badge

Picture
This December we will be working on the Metalwork Merit Badge.  This badge has many complex parts that need to be achieved in order to earn the badge.  The Lightning Patrol has the following suggestions for those interested in completing the badge during our Troop meetings.

1. Read the merit badge booklet. See below.
2. You'll have too attend the December meetings on the 7th and the 14th and you also need to attend a special troop meeting in January that is yet to be scheduled
3. Bring and fill out the worksheet at ALL of the meetings See below.

For the December 7th meeting all patrols need to prepare a two minute speech on metalworking job opportunities which is requirement # 4 (the patrols can just read off a piece of paper). Also the patrols need to coordinate their speech with the Lightning Patrol Leader Connor Shore at connorjshore@icloud.com  In your  two minute presentation you need to discuss a metalworking career, the education that is needed, the training that is needed, and finally the experience you must have for the career.

For the December 14th meeting we will have outdoor stations so you need to bring outdoor clothing for the weather.
