PATROL LEADERS COUNCIL (PLC) MEETINGS
PLC meetings are held monthly to plan and provide leadership for upcoming troop events.
The following are required to attend: One Patrol Leader from each patrol, Senior Patrol Leader (SPL), Assistant SPL, Scribe and Scoutmaster. All are required to wear their uniforms, take notes and pass on the information to their patrols.
The Senior Patrol Leader presides over the meeting with the guidance of the Scoutmaster.
The Scribe works with the SPL and submits PLC Minutes to the webmaster. The minutes will be posted to the PLC Minutes BLOG. All scouts are required to review the PLC minutes each month. Parents may also review the PLC minutes.
Any Troop 283 scout may use the comments section of the PLC Minutes and Messages to respond to the minutes, by leaving a 'BLOG style' comment. Scouts may use this format as a communication tool for planning. Leave comments by using and checking the Anonymous button.
To comply with BSA internet safety rules - No Scouts may use their last names, phone numbers, or other identifying information on the website. Identify yourself only as "first name - patrol name".
