Leadership Positions
During the Troop meeting at Mithun Hall
Leadership skills are a vital part of Scouting. You will carry these skills with you into your adult life and use them evey day. Leadership is also required for continued rank advancement.
Please review the many positions available (links have been provided to the left). Print and complete an application form and bring it to the troop meeting.
Elected Postions: SPL, PL, APL, Quartermaster and Scribe.
Appointed Positions: Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Troop Historian, Chaplain, Instructor, Troop Guide and Junior Assist Scoutmaster.
Every Scout should consider leadership positions sometime during their Scouting years.
Complete the application form and then discuss with your Scoutmaster any appointed positions that interest you.
Junior Leader Training is required for some positions and is excellent training for any Scout.
