Scouts Attended Vommunity Service Project - Kids Against Hunger
September 29, 2006 Community Service Project, Kids Against Hunger." I had a wonderful time packing food to help feed people in other countries who are starving. A semi truck pulled up to the Redeemer Gym were it was unloaded. Tables and packaging equipment were set up in the gym. The scouts and other volunteers measured, weighed and sealed plastic bags filled with food ingredients. The bags went in to cartons, and then in to master cartons. The food was going to be shipped to Mongolia and Peru." (William J.)
