Scouts Attended Troop Elections
October 23, 2006, Troop 283 encourages boys to learn and practice leadership skills. Every Boy Scout has the opportunity to participate in individual and shared leadership situations. Understanding the concepts of leadership helps a boy accept being lead by others and guides him towards the goal of becoming a valued citizen of the community in which he lives and works.
Holding a leadership office is necessary for advancement in scouting. Twent-five boys were either elected or appointed to various leadership positions. A leadership roster is available. Adam B. was elected as the SPL.
