Coast Cart Derby
September 8, 2007
Once again Matt C. dusted off his car to race in the James J. Hill Days Coaster Cart Derby on September 8, 2007. Matt took first place over his rival from Troop 570 by consistently being the first car to reach the bottom of the hill. According to Matt, "It feels good to win".
Like many of the other drivers from T283, Matt started participating in the James J. Hill Days coaster cart race as a cub scout at P283. Unfortunately, last year the race was cancelled do to the accidents that occurred the year before. However, this year the race ended with out incident.
Congratulations to Matt for his willingness to represent the Scouts of Troop 283.
