Luke Moran Makes Eagle

Troop 283 Scout Luke Moran reached the highest rank that a young man can obtain in Scouting, Eagle. By meeting specific requirements, Luke advanced through ranks called Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class. A First Class Scout may earn merit badges and demonstrate leadership to qualify as a Star Scout, a Life Scout, and eventually, after leading a project which serves the community, an Eagle Scout.

Hungry for Pancakes?

The Troop's annual Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, March 16th, 7:45am - 1:15pm, in Mithun Hall. Please consider signing up to serve during one of the shifts to help raise funds for the Troop.

To raise funds for the Troop, Scouts, Scouters, and parents turned out on Sunday, March 16th to prepare and serve a pancake breakfast at the Wayzata Community Church. The parents and Scouters prepared the food. Scouts greeted and served the customers and later bused the tables. Breakfast included pancakes, sausages . . .

April 12th - Maple Grove Senior High School

Youth Leader College is a Council-wide youth and adult training event. The goal is to “Train Troops to be more Effectively Youth Run” by improving communications between youth and adult. Come as a troop to further develop your youth and adult leaders through hands-on session by the Council’s best youth and adult instructors. (council)
