Scouts Attended Many Point Scout Camp
Fifty-eight (58) scouts and forteen adults attended Many Point Camp from Sunday, July 27 through Saturday, August 2. The scouts participated in many merit badge classes, Flintlock Adventure Base and many troop activities. In addition to all the activities, the troop received the Super Troop Award.
Hightlights from the week include:
139 Merit Badges completed
29 Merit Badges partially completed
24 Scouts completed the First Class Adventure Class and completed 35 requirements each (840 total Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class Rank Requirements)
1 Senior Patrol Leadership Course completed (Brian U.)
1 Eagle Scout Special Camp Award (A. Laska)
7 BSA Mile Awards (Greg L, Randy S. , Aaron S., Paul S., Frederick S., Will J., Ryan M.)
3 Mile Swim Finishers (Mark S., Billy J., Jeremy P.)
xx Pro Marksman Rifle Awards - about 6; they awards were handed out at the Closing Campfire. This award was mainly earned during evening freetime.
