Family Friends of Scouting (FFOS) 2020

Northern Star Council, like many organizations, has numerous income sources.
In order for Northern Star Council to continue to maintain camps, deliver quality programs, provide youth and adult leadership training, and keep Scouting affordable to all families, we need our Scouting families and communities to invest in Scouting.

Every year we hold a FOS donation drive. Typically we ask each family to sit through a presentation and complete a pledge card. A couple years ago we started a new tradition. Each Patrol is responsible for getting all the families in their Patrol to return their Pledge card. If you cannot donate this year simply put "not at this time" on your card and return to the Patrol leader or our FOS Chair Jim Gessford, jimgessford@gmail.com. The key is to get all cards turned in ASAP. Each patrol that gets 100% of their cards turned in will receive a Patrol Pizza party.

So be on the lookout for the FOS card from your Scout, ask them to explain a little bit about the FOS program and please pledge accordingly. Thank you for supporting Scouting and Northern Star Council.

If you wish to donate online, you can do so by clicking the link below and completing the online form.
