Lake Minnetonka District
Spring Camporee 2018
Iron Chef Competition at Lake Katrina 1&2 Group Camp!
May 4 - 6 2018

Picture
Join Us for Spring Camporee 2018 at Lake Katrina Group Camp(inside Baker Park Reserve) in Maple Plain, MN where your camp kitchen skills will be put to the test! You'll learn different skills at various stations by fellow Boy Scout troops, district staff, and even Webelos patrols. Before moving on to the next station, participants will have to demonstrate through a brief competition what they have learned. At the end of the day, the scores will be tallied and awards will be presented at the campfire program.

Our troop has the honor of being one of the Host troops, so we want to be well represented. Please make every effort to attend if possible.

This will be a more traditional camporee, which will include tent camping, hiking, cooking, arts and crafts, climbing tower, troop competitions, and merit badge opportunities, such as the COOKING merit badge! Have fun Trading recipes, Meeting new Scouts, and learning new skills.

Afternoon
competitions hosted by camporee units such as:
* Egg Toss
* Pancake Flipping Derby
* Blindfolded Sandwich making
* Cantaloupe Carving Scoutmaster Competition
* How well do you know your SPAM
* Marshmallow Sculptures
* Chopstick Challenge
* Steal the Bacon. Awards for these competitions will be also presented at the campfire program.
