Scouting News
We are honored to be asked to perform the flag ceremony at the beginning of the Minnesota Orchestra performance at Music in Plymouth event on Wednesday, July 2. We will carry the American flag, Minnesota flag and our Troop flag down the center aisle through the crowd, hold at attention during the playing of the National Anthem and then carry out down the center aisle after the anthem. All scouts are encouraged to participate; scout uniforms are required.
Please meet at the Troop 283 concession stand at 7:30 pm so we can meet with event leaders at 7:45 pm for instructions. The flag ceremony will be held at 8:45 pm.
We look forward to this great opportunity for Troop 283 to represent the Boy Scouts of America in front of a crowd of 12,000 - 15,000 people at this annual community event.
